Habbo Hotel Shockwave Development Forum Rules
Before posting on the Habbo Hotel forum, it is important to familiarize yourself with the rules. The full list of forum rules can be found at this link. Please note that these rules apply to the entire Habbo Hotel forum.
The Habbo Hotel Development Rules outline what types of posts are allowed in the development section of the forum, including:
- Any server or emulator that is in a development stage.
- Any developing project that will eventually be released.
- Details and progress of the development.
- At least one screenshot and/or snippet of the development.
The following rules also apply to development threads:
- Do not post development threads if you have no intention of eventually releasing the project.
- Do not post hotel developments or advertisements.
- Do not create threads for custom furniture, badge, or layout developments. Simply release them.
- Do not make requests for something to be made.
- Do not create threads that do not provide anything for the Habbo Hotel section.
- Do not create threads seeking people to start a new development.
- If you are giving a release, please be sure to include a working download link. Without one, your release is useless and may be considered spam. If you post a non-working download link, your thread will be closed.
- All developments posted here must be for Shockwave only (exceptions can be made if a project is for both Flash/Shockwave).
Finally, it is important to remember that Habbo developments are released not only to share with others, but also to receive feedback on how to improve them. Please respect others' releases by providing constructive criticism on what you liked or disliked about their project.
