Throught the early years of Habbo flash, sulake seemed interested to test out new features inside the game itself, making interesting additions then removing these again.
We can say the main things Habbo updated in this year was:
Quests
Interactions with others
Habbo since valentines 2010 had introduced a Quest system, in which, players could accept many quests as available, they where mostly about finding certain furnis or doing social interactions, at the end, rewarding players with Pixels or a Seasonal Currency if there was one active.
It is Known that Habbo has used this quest version 4 times, Valentines 2010, Xmas 2010, Friendship Day / Noob experiences 2011, Valentines 2011.
But, late 2011 Habbo would have updated their Quest to allow permanent quests about the hotel itself, and introducing in 2011, the Quest Calendar 2.0.
This newer version allowed habbo to display seasonal furni, make a countdown for rare releases and a cute way to conmemorate the campaign, the day image would change if the player has completed that day quest, sadly Habbo only used this 2 times.
In february 2011 Habbo has introduced a experimental feature along side that year Valentines quests, as a reward you could obtain a bracalet, then you could gift it to a friend of yours, and your friendship level would increase +1.
After the campaign was over, shortly Habbo introduced a noob/friend day, where player could take easy quests, get pixels and a exclusive friend bracalet edition, which was shaped like pixels. After you obtained atleast 1, you could click your friend and then a new button would appear: ''Gift Badge'', it would open a small inventory and show your available bracalents to gift, after you gave it, the receiver would get +1 point on the friendship bracalet (valentines or pixel edition).
Watch how all of this worked!
At somewhere in 2011, Facebook players could obtain a gift for using facebook, but it wont be so easy! Every player who was using a Facebook ID could spot a sparkling ball inside any room, if they clicked it, a leaf gift would be added to their inventory.
After trying to open the leaf package gift, players would be prompt to get help from facebook friends, telling them to join Habbo in order to help you open this weird gift.
After a friend of your has accepted your facebook invite, you would receive an alert telling you that the package was opened by (friend name) and you should check it out.
A prompt to name a pet frog would appear, for inviting 1 friend you would obtain a free pet frog with its own bed (Pet have favorite beds!)
At the end, Habbo ended up removing almost all features listed here quickly, for unknown reasons, except quest calendar, have been removed a month later it last use.
What do you think? Was habbo more creative back then?
