Personally I wish they would have kept the same thickness and just added a bigger battery with all of the space they ended up saving from the thermal and chipset changes. I'm also still kinda annoyed with how crippling iPadOS is considering they are putting desktop grade m2 -m4 chips in them. I've yet to see any applications really take advantage of the chips properly.
